creating an experience
I first started taking pictures when I was in the first grade and haven't looked back since. Little did I know I would be starting a photography business while in college getting my marketing degree.
It's important to me that the seniors, couples, and personal brands working with me have a great experience! I don't just want my clients feel like they're just booking a session, showing up, and getting photos.
I help my clients prepare for photos and chat with them through the planning process. This includes suggesting locations in the Missoula/Bitterroot Valley area, giving tips for the choosing outfits, a plan of what to bring, and guiding them through flattering posing at their photoshoots.

Lily is an English Cream Golden Retriever. She is the location scouting assistant here at Katherine Schot Photography, doubling as #1 in the distraction department. Her goofy personality and sense of adventure makes her a great member of the business.
