Finishing up finals and your time on campus can’t come soon enough when you’re first starting the year. Then, the next thing you know, it’s time for graduation. For seniors at the University of Montana graduation is quickly approaching!

Sara and I squeezed in a cap and gown photoshoot before her upcoming graduation. She’s a class of 2023 senior majoring in acting with plans to pursue a career in film.

Beginning our adventure, we stopped at the Grizzly Bear Statue. Unlike high school senior pictures, college senior pictures focus heavily on popular campus spots to celebrate your time on campus. In addition, to the popular spots on campus in soft, glowy lighting, I like to get a senior’s input on locations. What locations are meaningful for the senior? In this case, Sara wanted a photo taken by the Performing Arts Center after spending so much time there.

Tip for your University of Montana grad session: Let your Missoula senior photographer know if there are any locations on campus you’re hoping for. That way, you can get the images you have in mind!
