When Adelaide reached out for Knoxville grad photos and mentioned bringing along her dog, I got excited. I love dogs getting to capture the bond between someone and their furry best friend. I have my own dog and completely understand wanting to have your dog join in on photos celebrating this type of accomplishment. When grads plan to bring a dog, I suggest asking a friend to hold them during individual images. Also, packing a toy or treats can help. Sometimes dogs get distracted and won’t look at the camera. Adelaide’s dog Tucker was perfect for the camera and we didn’t have a problem getting him to engage. However, this isn’t always the case. It’s always best to be prepared. Take it from someone who’s dog turns into a noodle in front of the camera.
