We all want to look our best in images! If you’ve seen any of my previous blog posts with tips on what to wear, you’ll know that the outfits you choose make a huge difference in how you feel in front of the camera. Above all, if you don’t feel confident in the clothes you select, you won’t feel relaxed for your photoshoot. Now, where to find outfits for a photoshoot?
To clarify, finding the right outfit doesn’t necessarily mean going to a store to buy something new. You have a few options for finding the perfect clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Stick to lighter neutral and pastel colors and clothing. Solid colored will be your best choice. Also, eliminate any options with a fit too large or small.
I have more blog posts on what to wear for pictures where you will find more in-depth tips.
You likely already have clothing that would look great in photos. I recommend starting here when finding outfits. Mix existing wardrobe pieces and accessories for a new look, keeping in mind the best colors and styles on camera. Then, search for pieces from the following places.
Boutiques are a great place to look for cute clothing pieces!
Is it just me, or can it be challenging to find clothing with a good fit online? My favorite part about finding one at a local store is the ability to try on the clothes. There’s no need to wait for shipping to know if the outfit is flattering in person.
Are you looking for a unique piece to wear that no one else has? Thrifting clothing for your session is great for this. Plus, it can help to save money. However, it might take more time to find the perfect pieces.
Check with your bestie to see if you can browse her closet for clothing and accessories. It’s especially helpful when you want to wear something new, but don’t see yourself wearing it again.
