One of my favorite parts about senior pictures is the ability for each senior to uniquely customize their photoshoot to match their personality. For horse lovers, horses are an important part of life. It only makes sense to include them in a photoshoot, right?

When I photograph seniors, I include variety in the images. A mix of photos with a horse and some without. Not all high school yearbooks allow things like hats, props, and pets in images. I want you to have options should this be the case at your school.

It’s up to you to decide what’s right for you. However, you should think about any location preferences you have. Not all locations are horse-friendly, so it narrows it down significantly. For seniors who book with me, I’ll share a few of my favorite horse-friendly locations in the Missoula & Bitterroot Valley areas for some ideas.
