Throughout the process of planning your wedding, you’ve chosen the details that make your wedding day unique. Let’s document the details of your wedding! Preparing for wedding detail photos ahead of time minimizes stress, keeps you from forgetting details, and keeps your timeline on track.
There will be a time specified in your timeline for your photographer to capture these bridal details at the start of your wedding day. These are captured as flat-lay images pairing details like your invitation suite, flowers, and rings. Detail photos typically happen while you’re getting hair and makeup done. It will take some time for your photographer to assemble the flat lays. Most timelines account for at least 45 minutes.
How to prepare for wedding detail photos
The easiest way to keep your small details together is to bring them in a small box or bag. You can use the checklist below to pack the items you have for your wedding day.
When gathering items, I suggest cleaning jewelry like rings, earrings, and necklaces to give them extra sparkle for photos on your wedding day. This will help them look perfect for close-up images!
Keep your dress on a hanger or laying flat to keep it from wrinkling before you change into it.
